The Kone Coffee Filter is a stainless steel reusable filter which allows for more oils and a fuller bodied cup of coffee than paper. Designed to create the best coffee possible for those seeking a sustainable alternative to paper filters.
I honestly didn’t expect much from this filter. I just thought it’s a reusable filter which can be cleaned fairly easily and make decent coffee.
It does all that and plus the build quality was actually surprisingly good like it’s solid in every way. Solid and clean metal construction and good packaging!
For those who’re interested in this filter may already know that the brewing process and the coffee from it tastes different from the conventional paper way. It really is different and I wouldn’t say it’s worse or better. It’s just different.
So if you don’t expect the same coffee as from the paper filter and ready to accept this new everything, you would like this filter!
I really love how easy it is to clean this thing!
Good luck finding Chemex paper filters right now, The Able One filter is a good replacement. The coffee isn’t as smooth as with a paper Chemex filter but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Just different.
Works well and no environmental guilt.
