This leather dressing formula is created for softening, restoring and preserving leathers that do not need additional waterproofing or must remain breathable. Neat's-foot oil has been used since the 18th century and is commonly used by people wanting an all natural product for their leather. It can easily be removed without a solvent. Neat's-foot oil is derived from bovine shin and feet bones that would normally be considered waste in that industry. It does not solidify at room temperature and should be applied with a cloth or brush at least once a year. Not recommended for suede or white leather. May darken certain leather.
