Located in northern Arkansas, the Buffalo National River was established in 1972 making it the first to be designated a national river in the United States. The National Park Service manages the lower 135 miles of river afforded the designation and protects it from industrial uses and obstructions such as dams which may affect its natural state.

A huge clock, and a feat of engineering. Inspired by the large clocks that were displayed at stations to keep the passengers informed of arrivals and departures.
Beautifully shaped from solid wood segments, the construction of the billingsgate’s impressively deep and oversized cylindrical case is a real labor of love. Narrow triangles of timber are shaped to form a circular base which then has its center skilfully removed to create space for the inner dial, leaving a perfect outer circle to form the case. The gently polished wood, paired with a simple and uncluttered cream dial, makes for an elegant, statement timepiece.
Sshh! This clock has a silent sweep movement so no ticking here!
