Super nice - looks as nice as it cooks. Interior finish and preseasoning is top-quality. FYI - The lid fits the #10 skillet perfectly (I couldn't find that info when I was buying, but it is designed to do so. As of now you can't buy lids separately, so this is the only way you can get a Smithey lid for your skillet). I've seasoned a few additional grapeseed coats, but even out-of-the-box vegetables were gliding around. Bread and rolls release and get such a good cast iron 'crust' to them. There are cheaper and/or better value dutch ovens, but there are not better quality ones.
