Abba was formed in 1972 and immediately stole our hearts with irresistible classics like Fernando and Take A Chance On Me -along with many other pop hits. However, it is Dancing Queen that defines ABBA. It's a little known fact that Dancing Queen was originally a TV jingle meant to promote better oral hygiene in Sweden and surrounding Nordic countries. The TV commercial featured a safd, young teenager at a high school dance with half of her teeth missing. The Dancing Queen TV jingle was such a huge hit that the band later changed the lyrics "only seven teeth "to only seventeen." True story! Well, it's a good story at least...
